Should I buy shorty or long tube headers for my 2010-2012 Camaro?

Shorty Headers - Great for owners with daily driven camaros! Your Camaro will notice a small gain in horsepower (usually in the 10-15 hp range) and torque, and they are fairly easy to install with the proper proper tools. By replacing your factory camaro exhaust manifolds with aftermarket shorty headers, you allow the exhaust to flow better which lowers resistance and creates additional horsepower. Shorty headers can be used with the factory cats or a standard length aftermarket high flow cats. JBA makes a great shorty header for the 2010-2012 V6 & V8 Camaro.
*We recommend going with shorty headers for camaro customers with daily drivers looking for an upgrade from stock exhaust manifolds.

Long Tube Headers - Great addition to your race or performance Camaro! Long tube headers give a very nice gain in horsepower and torque in the higher RPM range (which is great for drag racing. Long tube headers are more difficult to install due to their size and exhaust bends. Long tube headers will require the use of a catted or off road mid pipe. American Racing Headers, Kooks, Stainless Works, SLP & JBA all make very high quality long tube headers for the V8 & V6 Camaro.
*We recommend full length headers for customers who intend to race their car and want the most power they can get. Long tube headers work excellent with boosted applications as well.
